A must have for any pipe fitter! Sep 21, 1998 The most comprehensive manual of its kind in my opinion. I am a veteran pipe fitter of 20 years. Just like master card, "don't leave for work with out it!"

Excellent Reference Mar 28, 2007

"JAD"
This book was to replace my old book that had been borowed and not returned. This book is a "must have" for anyone actively involved in the pipelining industry. While some of the homemade fittings cannot be used in code piping it can and has solved many problems during my 30+years of cross-country pipline cnstruction.

great reference however i did find one erroe Aug 17, 1997 on page 168 in estimating the weight of steel pipe the multiplier should be .2225 instead of .2199. I use this book quite often in the trade and recomend it to many of the people entering the workforce

Most Excellent Handbook Of Its Kind! May 16, 2009

"Retired Welder/Fitter"
I worked in the metal fabrication industry for many years as a Welder/Fitter (sorry I was always a welder first). This book saves a lot of time in the layout process. Through it one can learn trigonometric functions to solve layout problems. Armed with a blueprint the handbook and a calculator your can master just about any project (specially when they hand you a rough sketch). Useful for all metal fabrications not just pipefitting! The Pipe Fitter's and Pipe Welder's Handbook, Revised Edition
