Not at all what I had hoped for. Nov 03, 2007
By Terry M. I was looking for a reference book that had both IPC and UPC requirements with cross-references. This book has neither the Codes or cross references. It appears to be a text book to be used in conjuction with separate Code manuals. It is a failure at that, as well. There are endless pages that just rehash what is in the Codes without adding clarification or depth to what is already presented in the Code books.
An active plumber or plumbing student/apprentice would be much better served by just buying the Code books and working through them on their own.
