Learn how to partner or co-create with the earth, your home, or office. This book takes you step-by-step on how to tune into energy and recognize thought fields and emotional fields. Learn how to sense with your heart and body and how to develop your "body radar." Learn about cures and ceremonies for your house and land.
An easy-to-read book for both the novice and experienced person. I highly recommend Earth Spirit Living by Ann Marie Holmes.

If you ever wanted to find a way to bring nature inside your home in a decorative and pretty way, I recommend this book. Very cool ideas to incorporate your earthcentered spirituality into your home. This is also good for folks who just want to do some decorating with items they can find anywhere in nature. Makes your home cozier.

To date this is the best book I have read on creating a conscious, loving connection to the earth and our surroundings. The book flows and is easy to understand for those not used to tuning into nature energy or feng shui. Ann Marie wants the reader to know they have the ability to work with energy and encourages us to feel free to explore the given techniques. You don't need to go to Findhorn or study feng shui for years to be effective. You can do this and it's fun! We do have the ability to make the connection; it just takes practice.
The cures, ceremonies, and techniques presented in the book are definitely worth trying. I was instructed by "the fairies" to create a water feature on our front porch to flow more chi/energy into our home. The front door symbolically represents an individual's connection to the world. If the front door area is lifeless and blocked in some way, then the energy doesn't flow to the individual. The energy I am referring to translates to money, abundance of all forms, and even recognition by the outer world.
I assembled the fountain using Ann Marie's tips and intention setting and then created a ceremony to bless the fountain and invite in the water spirits. The splashing water and plants give me a joyous feeling, and bring harmony and energy to our home. I actually like coming in and out of the front door. Since I set it up, my husband was chosen Employee of the Quarter and I am getting more social invitations. I'll keep you posted on how it's working.
There is a lot of great information in this book about healing our earth and our environments. Besides recycling and going "green," I believe we need to make a spiritual connection to the earth. This book helps the average person do just that.
For those of you who are Michael students, Ann Marie is a 4th Old Sage with a Scholar essence twin. Her goal is Growth, attitude of Spiritualist, mode of Observation and emotionally centered. She clearly has a big heart for mother nature.

Whether you are simply trying to reinvigorate your space or are a professional organizer or environmental healer, 'Earth Spirit Living: Bringing Heaven and Nature into Your Home' is a fabulous reference work to return to again and again.
Not only is Holmes's approach appealing and sensible, it is enlightening as well. It describes actions you can take to alter the vibration of a space that work, as I can personally attest. Holmes fortunately targets a wide range of readers and does not alienate with focus on trendy 'woo-woo' preoccupations, although readers should be open minded to truly absorb the information.
It is time that we attend to the Earth and its energies and that we understand not only that we are affected by these energies, but how. Thank you, Ann Marie Holmes, for this wonderful guide!

This book is organized very well. The first part explains the big picture of the Earth - a great way to begin. Then Part 2 is Practical information about your home and office. Part 3 discusses considerations for remodeling, a moving,and building. Part 4 includes great information and instructions for attunements,cures for house problems such as lighting, fireplaces etc. This part gives in depth information about ceremonies including the purpose, materials, and procedures for the ceremonies. Conscious practices are also included at the end of the book.
This book is 239 pages of good information for understanding and taking gentle care of our planet Earth for our benefit and that of our planet. Considering the current earth changes, this book is timely and much needed. I will refer to this book often.
