A very good reference for cost estimating methods Nov 01, 2008
By Engineer This book gives a good overview of current cost analysis and estimating methods. The given examples and exercises help to understand how to use the methods. I recommend this book to everybody who is interested in cost estimating methods. To understand the described methods it is necessary to have some knowledge of mathematics and in some cases an engineering background.

Could have been better Aug 24, 2007
By S. Villarreal The author of the book goes over the top in derivation in his calculations. It's almost as if he's trying to show off instead of keeping the math simple and relevant. However, considering the other books for this topic, there are no better.

Not bad for a basic text Jan 20, 2009
By Steven R. Brown Purchased as a text.
Very generic and simple. If you are looking for an advanced primer, look into a chemical engineering series text by McGraw Hill.

Damaged book Sep 12, 2010
By gmccomic I orderd this book under good condition thinking it was fine, I started the class and just found out there were three chapters missing from the back of the book. Now I have a test coming up and nothing to help me study. I would like you to help me solve this problem by finding a new book and charging me the remaining cost for the new book. I will need this book shipped to me (ASAP).Please reply as soon as possible. Thank you, Greg MCcomic
